The Journal of Missional Practice is a shared project of The Missional Network and Together in Mission. True to its name, our journal is focused on Practice because we are convinced that God is at work in neighbourhoods and communities and we learn as we join with God in the local. We begin therefore with practitioners and story, rather than with theory and strategy. Among these practitioners are some who also have the scholarship to help us tease out a theological framing so that we may understand all that is happening.

Our desire is to more clearly perceive mission in the 21st century so that we can better participate with an active God. Submissions are invited, based on criteria that will keep us practice focused. Articles are peer reviewed for careful scholarship. The journal is led by an editorial board and managed by an editorial team. Issues are biannual, Spring and Autumn each year, and are themed.
